Our Name and Story
I chose the name Acacia Hill Strategies intentionally, because the Acacia tree has held personal meaning for me for many years.
I spent formative time in East Africa, where the Acacia tree is both iconic and enduring. Its presence in the landscape is unmistakable—wide canopies that offer shade and protection, deep roots that anchor it through changing conditions, and an ability to thrive in complex, shifting environments. That sense of resilience and perspective stayed with me long after I returned home.
For me, the Acacia tree represents reach, stability, and adaptability. It extends broadly while remaining firmly grounded. It creates space, provides cover, and responds to its surroundings without losing its foundation. That balance reflects how I approach my work.
Acacia Hill Strategies works across technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, workforce policy, and public-sector strategy because the future is being shaped at their intersection. The challenges ahead will not be solved in isolation. They require integrated thinking, long-term vision, and strategies informed by both deep experience and a panoramic understanding of how policy, innovation, and markets evolve together.
The Acacia tree captures that philosophy. Rooted where it matters, adaptive when conditions change, and broad enough to understand the full environment. It is the lens through which I approach my work and the foundation on which Acacia Hill Strategies was built. — Narda Marisa Jones
